Work for a health care system in Nashville, TN and help manage the system's investments in entities outside the hospital and ambulatory surgery centers. We're constantly on the look out for ideas and concepts that improve the efficiency of health care delivery, improve quality outcomes, and improve access to poor and uninsured individuals in our community.

On the side I'm getting my PhD in health care capacity building for developing countries...
What would you like to change about the health care system today?
1) Deploying a scalable, low-cost solution for covering the health care needs of our poorest and most disenfranchised populations.

2) Finding a market solution for scaling the health care systems found in developing countries.
What would you like to get from the Health Care 2.0 Community?
To develop a network of like-minded individuals who actively share ideas and concepts related to the improvement of health care delivery.
How do you stay informed about health care issues?
Wall Street Journal...Harvard Business Review...and a myriad of blogs (Hospital Impact, Running a Hospital, and The Health Care Blog are my favorites)...

Micro-Franchising Health Care in Low Income Countries

I just wanted to take a moment and highlight some of the incredible work being done by CFWshops (http://www.cfwshops.com).



In short, CFWshops helps nurses and pharmacists in developing countries set up their own "pharmacy" and "retail" drugs through their own storefront. Patients
